PROCESS
1. Discovery

My detailed questionnaire allows me to dig into the project details and expectations. I’ll collect information about the target audience, personal branding, and project goals and really explore the project’s visual language.

2. Research

Time to do some industry and competitor research and sketch out some design layouts, implementing the Crazy 8's design sprint method to provoke meaningful ideas and spark a creative fire.

3. Writing & Design

This is my favorite part. I write out the content first and follow it up with cutting and pasting the text into a visually appealing layout, accompanied by relevant images, graphics, charts, or any other elements needed to lift the brand.

4. Revise & Deliver

My goal is to provide real value and a wow factor to an audience, and sometimes that might take some trial and error to get things just right. Great things take time to perfect, so I will revisit aspects of the project after trial runs.

Every great design begins with an even better story.

Mine began in my early teenage years creating graphics for peers as early as Middle School using the now primitive Photoshop CS2. (Those were the days of terribly written Harry Potter fan fiction and dial-up internet.)

However, as crawling as the internet may have been in the 90s, my fellow writers and I formed a special relationship. We critiqued each other's writing, and I took it a step further by using my bootlegged design software to create eye-catching banners to promote stories I thought most deserved attention.

It was my Freshman year of college when I connected the dots; I didn't have to resort to dental hygiene as a career, staring down the endless void of the human gullet for the rest of my days. I could turn my long-loved hobby into a successful monetary pursuit, doing what I'm passionate about for work instead of becoming another post-graduate statistic. Since my epiphany, I’ve become a wife, freelanced with over 140 clients, written a historic romantasy, and expanded my expertise into UX/UI Design, PPC, SEO, and many other acronym-applicable skills.

Other fun and eccentric facts about me: My dream holiday is a trip to Nepal, where I hope to find the golden passport to Shambhala, where I can experience the philosophy of Gross National Happiness that Bhutan is famous for. I’m a boxing and yoga enthusiast (not sure if that fitness combo says something about me personally), former barista and current coffee snob, oldest sister of three siblings, console nerd, and avid home cook addicted to all things Gordon Ramsay.

I reached out to Whitney to assist in creating a lead magnet, and she came back with multiple great ideas for me to consider that I wasn’t even thinking about. I couldn’t choose just one, so I went with all of them, and she produced three amazing lead magnets. I am very impressed with the results and would highly recommend her. I will definitely return to her for future work.
